The track was empty. It was quiet and all that was heard was the traffic driving far in the distance. The man was hanging on the small target board with tape over his mouth. He couldn't scream and the rope around the wrists and ankles were hurting. It felt like the arms and legs were going to get pulled off from the torso. He looked around and he had no clue on how he got there. Sure, he had watched his son go through this race several times, but he had never really seen how big the track was.
